Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a PMC Lead Planning and Cost Engineer to support ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi, based at the client office. The role expects deep expertise in cost control, estimation, and contract management across FEED, PMC, and EPC environments, with a strong focus on evaluating bids and managing variations.

Ideal candidates will have ADNOC offshore experience, 15+ years in Oil & Gas, and a Bachelor of Engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering in related discipline.
Fifteen+ years in Oil and Gas with at least five years in a similar lead cost/PMC role.
ADNOC Offshore project experience is mandatory and offshore project exposure is preferred.
Experience evaluating cost control, estimation, variations, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

Develop contractual requirements for cost control and estimation, as well as invoicing and variations in tender documents and agreements (FEED, PMC, EPC).
Evaluate technical bids (PMC, FEED, EPC) for compliance and provide clarifications to bidders.
Prepare sections of Technical Evaluation Reports and finalise contract documents after tender clarifications.
Assess variation requests and prepare counter estimates using unit rates and provide management with recommendations.
Prepare AFE/AFOU for ongoing projects for management approval.
Coordinate with PMC Project Control Managers to ensure adherence to project control procedures throughout the project duration.
Ensure correct costing is charged to appropriate accounts.
