Job summary

Udrive Rent A Car LLC is seeking a Senior Platform & DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of our backend platform. You will manage the entire production environment, including cloud infrastructure, containers, deployments, and observability, ensuring 24/7 uptime for a high-growth mobility service.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud costs, and driving incident response and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or Datadog.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash and Python).
• Experience managing production systems with high availability requirements.
• Familiarity with reverse proxies (Nginx/Traefik).
• Understanding of security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Udrive's production infrastructure and platform reliability.
• Improve deployment reliability and reduce deployment time.
• Increase observability and monitoring coverage across services.
• Drive disaster recovery planning and cost optimization.
• Support engineering teams in production troubleshooting and incident response.
• Collaborate with backend/mobile/product teams on architecture and deployment planning.
