Job summary

Client of Involved Solutions seeks a seasoned platform engineering leader to own the group-wide platform strategy, cloud tooling, and observability. You will head multi-cloud, SRE, and platform teams to improve reliability, security, and FinOps discipline.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering, with at least 3 years in team leadership, and hands-on Kubernetes and IaC expertise across AWS, Azure or GCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams at scale.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD and cloud-native stack.

Own the platform engineering strategy across the Group covering cloud infrastructure developer tooling CI CD observability and reliability Build and run an internal developer platform with standardised paths that cut delivery time across business units Lead SRE and platform teams setting reliability targets incident practices and engineering standards Drive multi-cloud architecture security by design and FinOps discipline across all environments Partner with technology and business leaders to align platform investment with Group priorities Hire develop and retain a high-calibre platform organisation

10+ years in infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering, with at least 3 years leading teams at scale Proven track record building and running internal developer platforms in a large, complex environment Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and cloud-native architecture on AWS, Azure or GCP Strong SRE and observability background, with clear experience owning reliability and cost outcomes Experience in a multi-business-unit group, enterprise or high-growth environment Credible with CTOs and business leaders as well as engineers
