Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling and controls for large-scale construction developments in the UAE. You will develop and manage schedules, review progress, perform delay and risk analyses, prepare reports, and provide planning support to ensure delivery of mixed-use, residential, commercial, villa and townhouse projects.

The role requires close collaboration with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders to drive performance

Qualifications

Baseline programme review, progress monitoring, look-ahead schedules, delay analysis, EOT support, progress dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

Review baseline schedules for compliance with contract requirements and milestones.
Monitor progress against approved baselines and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare short-term and long-term look-ahead schedules to support execution and resource planning.
Analyze schedule risks, critical paths, constraints, and impacts on delivery.
Conduct delay analysis and support EOT assessments and claims evaluation.
Develop project dashboards and schedule performance analyses.
Coordinate with resident engineers, CM, contractors and client reps to validate progress data.
Monitor progression of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
