Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Planning Manager for a Dubai-based role focused on leading the integrated master schedules for large-scale residential and mixed-use developments. The position involves coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure on-time delivery across design, procurement, construction, testing, handover and close-out.

You will develop project controls, prepare executive-level updates, and mentor planning teams, while establishing governance and standardized procedures

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management and/or civil engineering.
• Membership/chartership from a construction-related professional body.
• Minimum 10 years in planning and scheduling with heritage/hotels/master planning/museum/cultural/pavilion projects; 5+ years in the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and control of integrated master schedules for residential developments and associated works.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, KPIs, forecasts and executive updates.
• Implement project controls processes, including progress measurement, forecasting, EVM and performance analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to align schedules and milestones.
• Develop standardized planning procedures, reporting tools, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Lead and mentor planning teams to ensure high-quality deliverables across projects.
• Monitor design approvals, procurement, authority permits and construction activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide strategic planning support to senior management for large-scale developments.
