Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Planning Engineer/Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling and controls for major mixed-use and residential developments. You will develop and manage schedules, monitor progress, perform delay/risk analyses, and prepare executive reports to ensure milestones are achieved.

You will review baseline programmes, monitor performance, create look-ahead schedules, and provide support for EOT assessments and claims.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to plan, schedule and control large-scale projects.
• Experience in baseline programme review and progress monitoring.
• Experience with EOT analysis and claims support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review contractors' baseline schedules for compliance with contracts and milestones.
• Monitor progress against approved programmes and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and support resource planning.
• Analyze schedule risks, critical paths, and constraints affecting delivery.
• Support EOT assessments and claims evaluation.
• Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and schedule performance analyses.
• Coordinate data with engineers, construction managers, and clients.
