Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our Fit-Out Factory team in Dubai South. The role focuses on project planning, scheduling, and controls for complex fit-out projects, leveraging Primavera P6 to monitor progress and analyze delays.

You will coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers, prepare dashboards and S-curves, and support EOT submissions with strong documentation and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in planning/project controls.
• Mandatory fit-out experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• P6 certification/training preferred.
• Experience in Delay Analysis and EOT preparation.
• PMP training/certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and project controls.
• Excellent coordination, reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline programs and detailed construction schedules.
• Plan design, procurement, approvals, site execution, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Identify critical paths, milestones and schedule risks.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards and S-curves.
• Identify delays and coordinate recovery/mitigation plans.
• Conduct delay analysis and support EOT submissions.
• Maintain proper documentation of delay events.
• Support the Commercial team with claims and variations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement and Design teams.
• Ensure design approvals, material deliveries and site works align with the schedule.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings.
• Monitor manpower, equipment and productivity.
• Track long-lead items, shop drawings and material approvals.
• Identify resource gaps and procurement-related delays.
• Maintain updated schedules and baseline revisions using planning software.
• Ensure accurate project controls documentation for reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities
