Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the integrated construction arm behind Azizi Developments, seeks a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute fitout works across high-rise UAE developments. You will ensure quality, timeline, and safety from design handover to closeout.

Ideal candidates bring 4–8 years of UAE fitout experience, strong drawing interpretation, and MEP coordination skills, with a solid background in contracting environments. Dubai-based role with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years' experience in fitout projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience on high-rise construction projects in UAE.
• Background with contracting firms (main contractor or specialized fitout contractor).
• Strong knowledge of UAE fitout standards, Dubai Municipality/Trakhees approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site execution of fitout works in high-rise buildings.
• Review and interpret architectural/interior drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for fitout packages.
• Coordinate with main contractor, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives on fitout sequencing and interfaces.
• Monitor progress against project schedule; flag and resolve delays proactively.
• Ensure work is executed per approved method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC standards.
• Track material submittals, samples, and approvals for fitout finishes.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging/de-snagging, and handover documentation.
• Enforce HSE compliance on site for fitout crews and subcontractors.
• Support cost control by tracking variations, RFIs, and site instructions related to fitout scope.
• Prepare progress reports, minutes of meetings, and close-out documentation.
