• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of planning/scheduling experience in contracting.
• Hands-on experience with building construction and high-rise towers in the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and local authorities.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedules and baselines.
• Knowledge of Power BI for dashboards and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline programmes and schedule updates using Primavera P6.
• Prepare and update S-curves, manpower histograms, look-ahead schedules, and resource deployment plans.
• Monitor progress against baseline and report variances to planning leadership.
• Support delay analysis, EOT claims, and Time Impact Analysis documentation.
• Develop and update Power BI dashboards for progress tracking.
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to collect progress data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and client submissions.
• Review subcontractor short-term programmes for alignment with master schedule.
• Identify potential schedule risks and escalate with supporting analysis.
• Assist in tender and pre-construction planning with programme inputs.
• Maintain documentation of schedule revisions and progress records.

As a Planning Engneer, you will support all planning, scheduling, and project controls activities within the contracting team. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with solid experience in building construction and high-rise tower projects in the UAE, capable of maintaining schedule accuracy and contributing to data-driven project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project baseline programmes and schedule updates using Primavera P6
• Prepare and update S-curves, Manpower Histograms, Look-Ahead Schedules, and Resource Deployment Plans
• Monitor and track project progress against the approved baseline and report variances to the Senior Planning Engineer / Planning Manager
• Support the preparation of delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) documentation
• Develop and update Power BI dashboards for progress tracking and management reporting
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to collect accurate daily and weekly progress data
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal management and client submissions
• Review subcontractor short-term programmes and ensure alignment with the master schedule
• Identify potential schedule risks and escalates to the Senior Planner / Planning Manager with supporting analysis
• Assist in tender and pre-construction planning with programme inputs and preliminary schedules
• Maintain proper documentation of all schedule revisions, progress records, and planning correspondence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of planning/scheduling experience within a contracting firm
• Hands-on experience on building construction and high-rise tower projects in the UAE
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices, project environments, and local authorities
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 — schedule development, resource loading, progress updates, and baseline management
• Working knowledge of Power BI — dashboard creation, data reporting, and project analytics
