Job summary

Confidential in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead scheduling for large-scale civil works with deep Primavera P6 and project controls expertise. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors, integrate civil and architectural timelines, and deliver baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and delay analyses.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree and 12+ years of UAE/GCC/India experience; proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and ERP

Qualifications

• 12+ years of planning engineering experience in UAE/GCC/India.
• Experience on large-scale building construction projects (high-rises, villas, commercial).
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, cash flow, manpower planning, and resource management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Sr. Planning Engineer

We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to oversee planning and scheduling activities for complete civil works in large-scale construction projects. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of project controls, Primavera P6, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6, specifically focusing on civil activities.

• Primavera Risk Analysis (Pertmaster)-For risk management and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Tilos - If working on linear projects (roads, pipelines, rail).
• Cost management software like Candy CCS or Primavera Unifier-for integration of planning with cost.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• MS Excel (Advanced)-Pivot tables, formulas, and dashboards for progress reporting.
• Power BI / Tableau-Increasingly in demand for visual reporting of KPIs.

Other Supporting Software

• AutoCAD / Navisworks (basic knowledge)-helpful for coordinating with design/drawings.
