Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Project Planner with strong experience in construction scheduling and project controls. The role requires developing monitoring and updating project schedules, ensuring alignment with timelines, resources and deliverables.

You will produce baseline schedules, track progress, perform delay analysis, and present status to the Project Manager and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management required.
• 4-7 years of experience in construction planning & scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor and update project schedules to align with timelines and resources.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and highlight delays with recovery plans.
• Coordinate with site team, procurement, subcontractors and consultants.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive strong Project Planner strong with strong experience in strong construction scheduling and project controls strong The candidate will be responsible for developing monitoring and updating project schedules ensuring alignment with project timelines resources and deliverables strong

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning Scheduling strong Develop baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 MS ProjectDefine project scope WBS Work Breakdown Structure and sequencing of activitiesPrepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules strong
• Monitoring Control strong Track project progress against baseline and identify delaysUpdate schedules on a weekly basis with actual progressConduct delay analysis and recovery planning strong
• Reporting strong Prepare daily weekly and monthly progress reportsGenerate S-curves histograms and KPI dashboardsPresent schedule status to Project Manager and stakeholders strong
• Coordination strong Coordinate with site team procurement subcontractors and consultantsEnsure alignment between construction activities and procurement timelinesSupport planning meetings and progress reviews strong
• Risk Delay Management strong Identify schedule risks and critical activitiesConduct critical path analysis CPA Propose mitigation and acceleration strategies strong
• Claims Documentation strong Maintain proper records of delays disruptions and variationsSupport contractual planning requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any field preferrably civil engineering / construction management 4-7 years of experience in construction planning & scheduling Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and construction processes

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Experience in baseline preparation, tracking, and recovery planning
• Good knowledge of construction sequencing and site execution
• Advanced skills in MS Excel (reporting & dashboards)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentation abilities
• Preferred Experience in high-rise / infrastructure / data center projects
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims
• Experience in resource & cost loading
• Abu Dhabi project experience is an advantage UAE DL is an advantage.
