Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design for offshore and onshore pipeline systems across conceptual, FEED, study, and detailed design phases
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, technical analyses, reports, and design procedures for pipeline systems
- Develop pipeline engineering design basis, philosophies, specifications, and installation methodologies
- Perform wall thickness calculations, on‑bottom stability analysis, and cathodic protection design reviews
- Conduct free‑span analysis, pipeline expansion studies, rigid riser stress analysis, and finite element analysis evaluations
- Support route selection design, bottom roughness evaluation, crossing support design, and subsea structure development
- Prepare material specifications, datasheets, fabrication specifications, and installation manuals
- Review and support shore approach design, onshore pipeline systems, and seismic analysis requirements
- Assist procurement teams with technical bid evaluations, requisitions, vendor reviews, and material approvals
- Review vendor and subcontractor submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and customer requirements
- Provide technical support to fabrication teams for queries, defect resolution, and installation challenges
- Participate in engineering meetings, vendor reviews, technical audits, offshore surveys, and project coordination sessions
- Guide junior engineers and designers while supporting discipline procedures, standards, and engineering software use
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong experience in offshore and onshore pipeline engineering within oil and gas EPC projects
- Deep knowledge of pipeline design codes, standards, and international engineering practices
- Proven expertise in FEED, detailed design, and installation engineering for subsea and onshore pipeline systems
- Experience using FEA tools and engineering software for pipeline stress and installation analysis
- Strong problem‑solving ability with effective time management and deadline control
- Excellent communication skills for client coordination, technical reporting, and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to support bid proposals, technical audits, and engineering design reviews
