Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Lead Project Engineer for an Offshore Island Project based in UAE (Abu Dhabi). You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase and act as the focal point between engineering, project management and contractors to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities include FEED deliverables management, contractor oversight, schedule/cost monitoring and risk management, plus ensuring HSE and QA compliance across all disciplines and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent).
• Master’s degree is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase, aligning deliverables with scope, schedule and quality.
• Monitor progress and quality of deliverables across processes, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation and HSE.
• Review EPC contractor engineering activities, ensure compliance with requirements, timelines and QA/QC standards.
• Support schedule development, progress reporting and milestone tracking; identify risks and mitigation actions.
• Manage interfaces between engineering disciplines and project packages; liaise with ADNOC Offshore, contractors and third parties.
• Identify project risks related to engineering scope, support HAZID/HAZOP and constructability reviews; manage changes.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and promote safe design principles and ALARP.
• Prepare and review technical reports, registers, action trackers and interface logs; provide updates to PM and client.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
