Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team seeks a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer for an Offshore Island Project in the UAE. You will lead all I&C, automation and safety systems engineering across FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC and commissioning phases.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, team coordination of engineers/designers, and ensuring design compliance with ADNOC and international standards, modules, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s preferred in control/automation or instrumentation.
• PE certification advantageous; 18–20 years in I&C for Oil & Gas.
• 8–10 years in lead I&C roles; FEED, Detailed Eng, EPC experience.
• Extensive offshore facility experience with platforms and subsea interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation, control, automation and safety system engineering for offshore assets.
• Provide technical leadership for instrument index, data sheets and loop diagrams.
• Develop control philosophies and FDS; review cause & effect and safety analyses.
• Coordinate with telecom and electrical interfaces; support commissioning and start-up.
