Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Abu Dhabi seeks a Lead Project Engineer for an Offshore Island Project to lead engineering during the execute phase, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring deliverables meet schedule, scope and client standards.

Based initially in the UAE, you will interface with ADNOC Offshore, EPC contractors and vendors, oversee FEED deliverables, manage risks, and support cost control while promoting safe design and ALARP principles across the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or equivalent.
• Master’s degree is an advantage for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet scope, schedule and quality requirements.
• Act as focal point between engineering, project management and contractors.
• Support Project Manager in achieving project objectives.
• Review and coordinate EPC contractor engineering activities and deliverables.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and interface challenges.
• Track engineering progress, risks and costs; support progress reporting.
