Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer for an Offshore Island Project based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) with potential relocation. The role focuses on managing civil and structural engineering for ADNOC offshore projects, ensuring adherence to codes, safety, and schedule.

The candidate will lead multi-disciplinary design efforts, coordinate with clients and vendors, and mentor engineers while supporting project phases from FEED to EPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Experience 15–20 years in Oil & Gas, EPC, or Offshore projects.
• At least 5 years in a lead or supervisory engineering role.
• Extensive experience on ADNOC Offshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy or similar.
• Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design activities for offshore facilities.
• Manage engineering deliverables including civil design basis, structural calculations, and foundation design.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
• Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Interface with clients, consultants, EPC contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
• Support procurement, construction, commissioning and site activities.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP and design reviews.
• Monitor progress and ensure deliverables stay on schedule and budget.
