Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Specialist Project Engineer for an Offshore Island Project, to be based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) with relocation to Spain, and then back to Abu Dhabi. The role oversees engineering activities during the Execute phase, coordinating with EPC contractors and ensuring alignment with client standards and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in oil & gas, offshore project experience, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering; a Master’s is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent). Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
• 5-7 years in offshore Execute / detailed engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase.
• Review and ensure deliverables meet client standards, scope, and schedules.
• Manage interfaces between engineering disciplines, project packages, and stakeholders.
• Support schedule development, progress reporting, and cost tracking.
