Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for an offshore subsea project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role leads multidisciplinary teams across FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence in line with ADNOC Offshore requirements. The incumbent will drive technical leadership, manage interfaces with EPC, PMC and ADNOC Offshore, and oversee risk, quality, and change processes while mentoring engineers to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related)
15–20 years in Oil & Gas with 8–10 years in Engineering Management
Experience with ADNOC Offshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy or major offshore EPC/EPCM projects

Responsibilities

Lead all engineering disciplines and develop execution plans aligned with project objectives.
Review designs, calculations, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and codes.
Coordinate interfaces between EPC contractor, ADNOC Offshore, PMC, vendors and subcontractors; monitor progress.
Manage engineering change control, risk assessments, and design clarifications with stakeholders.
Drive value engineering and optimization to improve project outcomes; ensure constructability of designs.
Mentor and develop engineers; allocate resources to meet project priorities.
