Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior/lead piping position on major O&G or petrochemical projects.
• Experience in Offshore projects (barges, platforms, complex structures) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture and drive engagement activities.
• Review and approve Contractor piping deliverables and calculations per design requirements.
• Lead design reviews, 3D model sessions, HAZID/HAZOP and ensure compliance with codes.
• Supervise engineering teams, coordinate vendor and owner meetings, and manage technical bid analyses.
• Coordinate updates to specifications and participate in option development for design optimization.
