Job summary

Worley is seeking a Construction Superintendent - Mechanical in Abu Dhabi to lead offshore piping design and engineering efforts on major oil & gas projects. The role requires extensive experience in mechanical disciplines, safety leadership, and coordination with owners, licensors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Minimum 5 years in the GCC region.
• Offshore experience are mandatory.
• ADNOC & Offshore project experience is required.
• Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
• Review and approve Contractor key deliverables within designated durations.
• Ensure EPC Mechanical (Piping) design activities meet specs and standards.
• Coordinate vendor/owner meetings and technical sessions.
• Oversee design reviews, 3D model reviews, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP/HAZID.
• Provide technical guidance and review in design optimization.
