Job summary

Bybit, established in 2018, is a leading cryptocurrency exchange, serving millions across regions. We seek a senior compliance leader to design and oversee our UAE-focused compliance program across ADGM/DIFC-regulated operations.

You will collaborate with the Board and regulators, develop AML/CFT frameworks, and drive governance across two regulated entities, ensuring timely remediation of findings and adherence to evolving rules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior compliance or financial crime experience in regulated financial services.
• Strong knowledge of FSRA Rules, FSMR, MIR, and ADGM AML Rulebook.
• Approved Person status or willingness to seek FSRA regulatory approval.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee the compliance function and monitoring of FSRA Rules, FSMR, MIR, and other regulations.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring programmes for exchange and clearing house operations.
• Provide independent compliance advice to the Board and senior management.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, testing, and gap analyses.
• Liaise with the FSRA on compliance matters and ensure timely remediation of regulatory findings.
• Advise on new market products, trading rules, and participant admission criteria.
• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of AML/CFT/sanctions programme.
• Investigate and decide on internal SARs/STRs.
• Develop AML policies, risk assessments, CDD, EDD, and ongoing monitoring procedures.
• Act as the key contact with the FSRA and other authorities on financial crime matters.
