Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai invites an experienced MEP Estimator to join our project teams. You will quantify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope from drawings, prepare cost estimates, and ensure bids reflect current market pricing.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least five years in MEP estimating, proficiency with Accubid/CostX/Planswift and Excel, and a solid grasp of codes and construction methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in MEP estimating for commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Proven proficiency with MEP estimating software (e.g., Accubid, CostX, Planswift) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, building codes, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and scope to quantify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and labor.
• Develop detailed cost estimates by researching current market pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Collaborate with design teams and project managers to understand requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare bid proposals with cost breakdowns, exclusions, and assumptions, ensuring contractual requirements are met.
