Job summary

K4 Group is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer / Draftsperson – HVAC for our Dubai team. You will lead HVAC design, MEP coordination, and submissions to UAE authorities, ensuring compliance with DEWA, DCD, and DM standards.

With 12–15 years of MEP experience and strong technical skills in HAP, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP, you will supervise drafting, calculations, and shop drawings while coordinating with Electrical and Plumbing teams for fit-out projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• HVAC design and engineering expertise.
• MEP coordination across disciplines.
• Experience with DEWA, DCD, and DM approvals is required.
• Drafting and detailing using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of UAE standards and AHUs, piping, and smoke management.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC and MEP design for residential, commercial, hospitality, and luxury fit‑out projects.
• Perform heat load calculations using HAP (Carrier).
• Prepare duct sizing, chilled‑water pipe sizing, ESP, ventilation, and smoke management calculations.
• Prepare and coordinate MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Coordinate HVAC with Electrical, Water Supply, Drainage, Plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, DEWA regulations, UAE Fire Code, Dubai Municipality, and Al Sa'fat requirements.
• Lead and coordinate DEWA, DCD, and DM authority submissions and approvals.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and resolve design/coordination issues.
• Provide technical support during execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.

• Strong expertise in HVAC design and engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of HAP (Carrier), AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of HVAC calculations, MEP coordination, and UAE standards.
• Proven hands‑on experience with DEWA, DCD, and DM approvals.
• Working knowledge of Electrical, Water Supply & Drainage systems.
• Experience in fit‑out, contracting, consultancy, or design & build projects is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / MEP Engineering or related field.
