Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor for on-site duties in Abu Dhabi. You will manage cost planning, procurement, contract administration and cost control across mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Required: minimum 5 years as a QS with MEP focus, familiar with FIDIC/JCT/NEC contracts, MRICS advantageous but not essential. Role involves pre/post-contract support, site coordination and regular cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with specific focus on MEP systems.
• Proven experience in managing costs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
• Experience across commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, hospitality projects.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract (FIDIC, JCT, NEC, local variants).

Responsibilities

• Cost management and planning for MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and drainage.
• Prepare bills of quantities and tender documentation for MEP packages; analyze quotations.
• Administer MEP contracts and monitor costs through construction phases.
• Value engineering and cost forecasting; prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and MEP specialists.”
