Black in Health Policy is seeking a Senior Marine Insurance Specialist to manage marine policies, assess risks, coordinate underwriting, and handle complex claims in a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of marine insurance experience, knowledge of cargo, hull, and liability products, and strong communication with brokers and clients. The role offers 100% remote work and global collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of marine insurance experience.
• Knowledge of Institute Cargo Clauses and Institute Hull Clauses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with underwriters, brokers, and claims teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage marine insurance activities across cargo, hull and machinery, marine liability, and related products.
• Review applications, declarations, shipping documents, vessel information, and risk details to assess coverage requirements.
• Coordinate with marine underwriters, brokers, shipping companies, and logistics providers.
• Assist in evaluating marine claims, surveys, and settlement recommendations.
• Maintain electronic records and prepare management reports on portfolio performance.
