Job summary

Green Horse Energy is seeking a Senior Reinsurance Treaty Specialist to lead the administration of proportional and non-proportional treaties in a fully remote role. You will coordinate renewals, review quotes, analyze risk exposures, and prepare comprehensive treaty documentation for global reinsurers and brokers.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in reinsurance, strong Excel proficiency, and excellent negotiation and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in reinsurance treaty administration, treaty placement, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of proportional and non-proportional treaties (quota share, surplus, excess-of-loss).
• Experience coordinating treaty renewals with reinsurers and brokers.
• Familiarity with UAE insurance market and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage administration and servicing of proportional and non-proportional treaty arrangements.
• Coordinate treaty renewals, placements, amendments, and negotiations with reinsurers and brokers.
• Review treaty wording, terms, exclusions, limits, deductibles, retention, commissions, and reinstatement provisions.
• Analyze portfolio exposures, claims trends, and underwriting results to support treaty structures.
• Prepare treaty submissions, renewal presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor treaty performance, premiums, recoveries, and commissions.
• Ensure accurate calculation and settlement of treaty premiums and related amounts.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and compliance teams on treaty administration.
