Sharjah Islamic Bank is looking for a Manager to oversee Correspondent Banking, ensuring efficient cross-border payments, cash management, and trade finance services. You will identify opportunities, negotiate with correspondent banks, and monitor performance to enhance the bank’s global network.

The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to improve operations, manage risk, and deliver innovative financial solutions that drive revenue and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Banking/ Finance/ Accounting or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years experience in banking, including 5 years in correspondent banking.
• Working knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (MS Office - Expert).

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote relationships with correspondent banks and financial institutions.
• Support delivery of seamless trade finance and cross-border payment services.
• Negotiate credit lines with correspondent banks and review pricing.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/KYT/AML regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking and Compliance teams.
