Sharjah Islamic Bank in Sharjah is seeking an Assistant Manager – Business Support (UAE Nationals Only) to drive efficient back-office operations within Corporate Banking. You will oversee BSU activities, ensure timely delivery of services, and implement procedures and controls under the HOD.

The role requires a university degree, 5 years of experience, fluency in English and Arabic, and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with support services to minimize turnaround times on customer documentation
• Prepare document lodgment sheets and security documents for customers
• Coordinate ICCS clearing for CBG within the deadline
• Check customer security documents and escalate discrepancies to RM while ensuring complete submissions
• Respond to CBRB and process AECB inquiries with RM/RO
• Back up BSU team by learning roles and stepping in as needed
• Maintain ethics and integrity and build good inter-department relationships
• Assist in migrating transactions to automated channels to reduce costs

JOB PURPOSE:

The role involves supporting CBG activities to maximize the efficiency of the Business Support Unit (BSU). The position carries operational and administrative responsibility for the efficient and timely delivery of services provided by the BSU, as well as for the implementation of procedures and controls related to corporate back-office activities. In the absence of the BSU Manager, the role is also required to assume team leadership responsibilities and oversee operations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Effective coordination with support services (CAD, TFD, Legal, Sharia etc) to minimize turnaround times on customer documentation, booking of deals and other operation related support.
• Preparation of document lodgment sheets, security documents to customers and adhoc reports
• Coordinate and perform ICCS clearing for CBG within the stipulated time period.
• Checking of Customer security documents and communicating discrepancies to Relationship Managers while ensuring submission of complete documents to CAD/Legal/Mortgages departments.
• Ensuring the response to CBRB & processing of AECB completed Inquiries received by the RM/RO.
• Act as back up staff for all BSU team by learning their job responsibilities and taking over if required.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity with customers and colleagues and positive relationship with other departments in the bank.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by HOD.
• Active involvement in migrating transactions to automated channels in view of minimizing operational expenses to CBG.

QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

• Minimum Qualifications: University Graduate

• Language Skills: Well written and spoken English & Arabic
