Job summary

EY in the UAE is seeking an experienced M&A Senior to join our Strategy & Transactions team. You will work with Senior Managers and Partners to assess the strategic fit of a business by analyzing all aspects of a transaction, managing the deal cycle, assisting in negotiations, and conducting financial modelling.

The role requires 3–4 years in a M&A environment, strong numerical and modelling skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field from a reputable university.
• 3–4 years of experience in a M&A environment with deal execution.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to produce high quality client documents for transactions.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating strategic fit of a business and transaction.
• Manage deal cycle and prepare client reports and documentation for fund-raising, acquisitions and disposals.
• Support negotiations and financial modelling.
• Collaborate with junior colleagues to grow the team and share knowledge.
• Meet transaction timetable and coordinate with counterparties and advisers to ensure milestones are met.
