The successful candidate will plan end-to-end shipments, prepare accurate quotations, manage shipping documents, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining high compliance and reporting

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding / logistics.

• Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and trade documentation.
• Established network within shipping and logistics market.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate freight estimates and quotations for breakbulk, container and air cargo.
• Plan and coordinate shipments end to end, including booking and delivery.
• Prepare and issue shipping documents such as Bills of Lading and Air/Sea Waybills.
• Leverage a strong network of carriers, agents and terminals.
• Maintain shipment records, cost sheets and profitability reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office and freight management/ERP systems.

Role & responsibilities -

We are Hiring Senior Logistics Executive with Experience in (Breakbulk / Container / Air) for a leading Industrial steel Piping Co for Dubai , China and Bangalore Location.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in a discipline relevant to logistics and shipping, such as:
• Preferred: Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Shipping / Maritime Studies
• Also acceptable: International Trade, Business Administration, Commerce or International Business
• Also acceptable: Marine, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering (particularly relevant for breakbulk and project cargo)

MBA or Master's in Supply Chain / Shipping / International Trade is an added advantage.

Experience

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding / logistics, with hands‑on exposure to breakbulk, container (FCL/LCL) and air cargo.
• Proven experience in freight costing, quotation and rate negotiation.
• Strong working knowledge of Incoterms 2020, Bills of Lading, Switch BLs, Air Waybills and trade documentation (L/C, UCP 600 familiarity preferred).
• Established network within the shipping and logistics market.

Freight Estimation & Commercial

• Prepare accurate freight estimates and quotations for breakbulk, container and air cargo, covering ocean/air freight, surcharges, port and terminal charges, inland haulage, customs and other costs etc

Shipment Planning & Execution

• Plan and coordinate shipments end to end booking, cargo readiness, pickup, stuffing, vessel/flight allocation, transhipment, delivery and closure etc

Compliance, Reporting & Improvement

Maintain shipment records, cost sheets and job profitability reports; reconcile costs and support invoicing etc

• Proficiency in MS Office, freight management/ERP systems and tracking tools.
