Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in logistics, with solid exposure to air and sea freight.
• In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, Dubai Customs portal, and inspection protocols.
• Experience in perishable goods or fresh produce essential.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in ERP and logistics tracking systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end logistics for international air and sea shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle all documentation and communication related to customs clearance and inspections.
• Accurately classify products using HS codes and ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations.
• Track and monitor all incoming shipments to avoid delays and ensure cold chain integrity.
• Manage and maintain shipping documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.).
• Liaise with internal teams – procurement, warehouse, compliance – for smooth coordination.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across logistics operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with Dubai Customs and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure logistics operations remain HSE compliant and aligned with best practices.
