Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer - Utilities in Abu Dhabi to lead the design, development, optimization, and execution of utility systems for large-scale oil and gas projects. The role spans concept through start-up, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards.

The position requires minimum 15 years in oil and gas with at least 5 years in a lead role on mega projects, and extensive experience in process utilities, safety, and project

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, LNG, gas processing, refining, utility infrastructure, or petrochemical projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a Lead Process Engineer or equivalent engineering leadership position on mega projects.
• Proven experience managing teams of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
• Extensive experience across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC execution, commissioning, and start-up.
• Strong experience in utility system design and optimization for large industrial facilities.
• GCC project experience is highly desirable, particularly ADNOC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility process engineering activities for major EPC, brownfield, and greenfield projects.
• Provide technical direction throughout concept development, FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Develop and review utility system design philosophies and engineering design bases.
• Lead utility system selection, sizing, optimization, and integration with process facilities.
• Review and approve technical deliverables prepared by the engineering team.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities to achieve project objectives.
