Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Major Works Engineer to drive the full lifecycle of major project works from conception to handover. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure design and execution meet industry and ADNOC standards, while maintaining rigorous safety and quality benchmarks.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in major projects, with hands-on involvement in process engineering, PFDs/PIDs, and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 6 years of experience in major works / engineering projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads major works from initiation to closeout and ensures alignment with objectives and procedures.
• Participates in review of layouts, control schemes, specifications, and related engineering documents.
• Resolves technical and execution issues conflicting with major works execution plans.
• Reviews engineering packages for scope, data sheets, schedules, proposals, estimates, and startup procedures.
• Manages site execution in production and process discipline and supports safe operations to meet targets.
• Identifies interface problems and mitigates scope changes affecting cost and schedule.
• Participates in site surveys, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and decommissioning of new projects; troubleshoots as needed.
• Coordinates with site teams for major works participation and updates to operations.
• Develops PFDs, PIDs, UFDs and performs sizing calculations and flow summaries.
• Reviews technical proposals and studies for external consultants or contractors.
