Job summary

Dubai Insurance Co is seeking a Senior IT Technical Lead to oversee and lead the organization’s technical and infrastructure designs, activities and governance. The role covers compute, system, network engineering and cybersecurity strategy.

Requirements include a Computer Engineering degree, MCSE/MCSA, 5+ years in systems/DB administration and leadership, with strong English communication and vendor management capabilities. UAE-based with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
• MCSE / MCSA certification demonstrates validated expertise.
• Minimum 5 years in systems and DB administration with leadership experience.
• Experience across Windows, Unix, Oracle, and SQL Server environments.
• Ability to establish security, backups, DR plans, and governance policies.
• Strong English verbal and written communication; proactive continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and design DIN's technical and infra architectures and governance.
• Lead incident management across multi-technology ecosystems.
• Manage cloud-hosted technologies and monitor SLAs and reporting.
• Evaluate and approve hardware/software acquisitions in collaboration with leadership.
• Maintain up-to-date infrastructure standards and security practices.
