Dubai IT Director — Strategy, Security & Cloud

Job summary

Visioneers in Dubai seeks an experienced IT Director to lead the complete IT landscape across multiple entities. You will shape strategy, manage infrastructure, and drive digital transformation while ensuring cybersecurity and compliance.

Responsibilities include vendor negotiations, budgeting, and governance across on-site operations. A senior leader with 10+ years in IT and UAE experience is required to align IT with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record in IT infrastructure, vendor management, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute IT strategy aligned with business objectives, reporting to COO.
• Lead IT team, fostering accountability and innovation.
• Advise management on emerging technologies and digital transformation opportunities.
• Ensure standardized IT governance and policies across entities.
• Oversee infrastructure management, including servers, storage, networking, and security systems.
• Manage Google Workspace, Office 365, and AD, including domain and email management.
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee IT budgeting, cost optimization, and procurement with Finance.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee cloud environments and applications (Azure, hosting, DNS, backups).
• Coordinate software development, integrations, and ERP/enterprise apps.
• Ensure day-to-day IT operations and user support across sites.
