Job summary

Salt is seeking a Senior Specialist – IT Infrastructure, Operations & Security for a 6-month contractual engagement in Abu Dhabi. The role requires hands-on management of enterprise IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environments, workplace technologies, and cybersecurity operations.

The candidate must coordinate with MSPs and SOCs to ensure secure, reliable IT service delivery. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, workplace technology, and cybersecurity.
Proven hands-on experience administering enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
Experience supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).
Manage identity and access management, endpoint security, application security, data protection controls.
Support Azure infrastructure and enterprise workplace technologies.
Maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, LAN/WLAN, and security services with MSPs.
Coordinate with external SOC providers on security monitoring and incident response.
Support Windows and macOS endpoints and enterprise applications.
Manage IT operational processes (incident, problem, change, asset, access).
Support governance, risk management, compliance, audit readiness, and business continuity initiatives.
