Job summary

Salt Search is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a permanent on-site role in Dubai. You will manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including Linux/Windows servers, cloud deployments, and security technologies.

The position requires 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in information security or IT-related field. Responsibilities include system health, patch management, automation, cloud provisioning, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Microsoft domain and active directory.
• Experience in managing network security technologies like firewall and WAF.
• Experience with virtualization environments such as VMware.
• Structured documentation and diagramming skills.
• Excellent English communication (accent-free).

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and availability management of all systems/components.
• Troubleshoot issues with servers and applications in Linux and Windows environments.
• Patch management and deployment across systems.
• Provide support for the IT infrastructure.
• Automate operational tasks and provisioning for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Build and manage Azure & OCI infrastructure.
• Integrate cybersecurity technologies in an agile environment.
• Assist onboarding with installation, configuration, troubleshooting and remediation.
