Job summary

Salt is seeking a highly experienced Senior SharePoint Developer for a major Abu Dhabi project on a 10-month extendable contract. The role requires hands-on work across SharePoint On-Premises and Online, with leadership in architecture, development and integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.

The candidate will design, develop and maintain SPFx solutions, manage farm architecture, and guide teams through complex technical discussions and migrations. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on SharePoint development experience.
• Extensive experience with SharePoint On-Premises (2013/2016/2019/SE) and SharePoint Online.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, administration and topology.
• Advanced development expertise in SPFx, React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs, Microsoft Graph APIs and .NET/C# Web APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID and JWT.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with external applications and Azure services.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical design and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize and maintain solutions across SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online.
• Work with SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Server Subscription Edition (SE).
• Manage and support SharePoint farm architecture, configuration, service applications and administration.
• Develop modern SharePoint solutions using SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Build SPFx Web Parts, Extensions, Application Customizers, Field Customizers and Command Sets.
• Develop integrations using Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint REST APIs, Azure services and .NET/C# Web APIs.
• Troubleshoot complex SharePoint performance, authentication, configuration and integration issues.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, provide solution designs and guide development teams.
• Support SharePoint migrations, upgrades and modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to AI-enabled SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Agents and Azure AI Foundry.
