Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization, network security, and end-user support across multiple locations including villas.

The role requires hands-on expertise in VMware, Windows Server, DNS/DHCP/AD, and backup solutions, with responsibilities spanning server, network, and cloud administration to ensure uptime and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure & virtualization.
• UAE driving license preferred for light vehicles.
• Strong hands-on experience in VMware environment management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites independently.
• Experience with various IT infrastructure tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Server, Virtualization & Infrastructure Management: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers (HP, Dell, IBM).
• VMware: VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter installation, configuration, and management; VM creation, backup, performance monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Manage Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory; enforce Windows Server security policies; manage file sharing policies and access controls.
• Administer NAS backup server and Veeam backup software; manage tape library maintenance.
• Network & Security Management: setup and management of SonicWall firewall; VPN setup; manage WiFi controllers and access points; monitor connectivity and CCTV/NVR systems; smart home automation systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization, network security, and end-user support. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing IT operations across multiple locations, including offices and residential villas. The role involves managing various aspects of IT infrastructure, including server management, network security, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Server, Virtualization & Infrastructure Management
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of HP, Dell, IBM Servers.
  • Strong hands-on experience in VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) installation, configuration, and management.
  • Virtual machine creation, backup, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Managing Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
  • Implementing and enforcing Windows Server security & administrative policies.
  • Managing File Sharing Policies and Access Controls.
  • Administration of NAS Backup Server.

  • Knowledge of Avaya IP Phone Systems configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Managing DU & Etisalat accounts and sim cards.

  • Installation and configuration of Tally Prime.
  • Managing end-user systems and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Website management including editing pages when required.
  • Managing GoDaddy accounts, including domain and hosting renewals.
• Asset & License Management
  • Maintaining IT asset inventory list.
  • Managing all software and hardware license renewals.
  • Program and critical software backups storage.
• General IT Support
  • Providing end-user technical support.
  • Ensuring system uptime and preventive maintenance.
  • Willingness to work on weekends if required for IT-related tasks or emergencies.
