Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, SQL, VPNs, VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• CompTIA certification (Security+, Network+, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and SQL databases.
• Design, document, and maintain network infrastructure—switches, VLANs, structured cabling, racks, and site topology.
• Support and document server infrastructure, including CCTV and access control.
• Plan and execute technology refresh and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Manage user identities, access controls, and MFA.
• Oversee Microsoft Intune and endpoint management—device enrollment, policies, and lifecycle management.

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven IT Administrator to manage day-to-day IT operations across our Dubai office. You'll be responsible for keeping our infrastructure — servers, networks, Microsoft 365 environment, and endpoint security — running smoothly, while also supporting IT project coordination and vendor management. This role suits someone who can take ownership, work independently, and be the primary technical point of contact on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and SQL databases
• Design, document, and maintain network infrastructure — switches, VLANs, structured cabling, racks, and site topology
• Support and document server infrastructure, including systems tied to CCTV and access control
• Plan and execute technology refresh and infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Manage user identities, access controls, and Multi-Factor Authentication
• Oversee Microsoft Intune and endpoint management — device enrollment, compliance policies, and lifecycle management
• Provide advanced Level 2/3 support for Windows and macOS devices

Security & Compliance

• Support cybersecurity administration, including phishing incident handling and endpoint encryption
• Maintain alignment with ISO 27001 information security standards
• Conduct access reviews and support security tool administration
• Coordinate IT project activities, ensuring proper documentation across all phases
• Liaise with vendors, manufacturers, and service providers to resolve issues efficiently
• Prepare IT status reports and present findings to management
• Support budgeting for IT equipment and software purchases

What You'll Need

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, SQL, VPNs, VMware, and/or Hyper-V
• CompTIA certification (Security+, Network+, or equivalent)

Preferred:

• Practical experience with ISO 27001 — implementation, audits, or compliance
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Intune, and Teams
• Knowledge of enterprise networking — switching, VLANs, structured cabling, and network documentation
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems
• Endpoint security experience — BitLocker, MFA, and incident escalation
