Job summary

Nexgen Plastic Industry LLC in Umm Al Quwain is seeking a Senior Machine Operator with 7+ years of hands-on experience on 2500T+ injection moulding machines to join our production team. You will operate, monitor and optimise high-tonnage presses to meet daily targets.

You will lead shifts, coordinate operators, ensure quality, safety and housekeeping, and collaborate with maintenance for downtime fixes. Rotational shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in injection moulding operation.
• Experience with 2500T+ machines; 3000T+ or higher preferred.
• Experience with Tederic, Haitian or similar machines.
• Good knowledge of producing pallets, crates, and containers via injection moulding.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Machine Operator with 6 or 7 plus years of hands-on experience operating large-tonnage injection moulding machines (2500T+).

Key Responsibilities:

• * Operate and monitor large-tonnage injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• * Manage shifts and coordinate the production team to achieve daily production targets.
• * Guide, support, and motivate junior operators and team members.
• * Monitor machine parameters, production cycles, and product quality.
• * Handle machine start-up, shutdown, mould changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
• * Identify production and quality issues and coordinate with maintenance/technical teams.
• * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• * Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with HSE and company procedures.
• * Maintain production, rejection, and downtime records.
• * Work with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• * Willingness to work rotational shifts is required.

Requirements

• * Minimum 7 plus years of experience in injection moulding machine operation.
• * Strong experience with 2500T+ machines; experience with 3000T, 3500T, 4000T or higher is preferred.
• * Experience with Tederic, Haitian, or similar machines.
• * Good knowledge and hands-on experience in the production of plastic pallets, crates, and containers.
• * Good knowledge of injection moulding processes, moulds, and troubleshooting.
• * Strong team-management and communication skills.
• * Ability to lead, motivate, and maintain discipline, safety, and productivity within the team.
