Job summary

NexGen Plastic Industry L.L.C in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, is seeking a Senior Injection Moulding Machine Operator with at least 7 years of hands-on experience to join our manufacturing team. You will operate large-tonnage machines (2500+ tonnes), supervise shifts, train juniors, and ensure quality, safety, and productivity.

Experience on Tederic or Haitian presses and a background in producing pallets, crates, and containers is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on injection moulding operation.
• Experience on 2,500 tonne+ machines (prefer 3,000-4,000+ t).
• Experience with Tederic or Haitian machines.
• Experience in producing plastic pallets, crates, and containers.
• Strong knowledge of moulds, process parameters, and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership and effective communication; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor large-tonnage injection moulding machines safely.
• Supervise shifts and coordinate production teams to meet targets.
• Guide junior operators and enforce safe working practices.
• Set and adjust machine parameters for quality and efficiency.
• Handle start-up, shutdowns, mould changes, and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify issues and coordinate corrective actions with maintenance.
• Maintain production, rejection, and downtime records.
• Keep the production area clean and compliant with HSE policies.

WE’RE HIRING | SENIOR INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE OPERATOR

NexGen Plastic Industry L.L.C is looking for an experienced Senior Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.

Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: Minimum 7 years

Machine Capacity: 2,500 tonnes and above

Machine Brands: Tederic, Haitian, or similar

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor large-tonnage injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• Supervise shifts and coordinate the production team to meet daily production targets.
• Guide and support junior operators, ensuring safe working practices and consistent performance.
• Set, monitor, and adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality and efficient production cycles.
• Carry out machine start-up, shutdown, mould changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify production and quality issues and coordinate corrective action with maintenance and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate production, rejection, and downtime records.
• Maintain a clean and organised production area in accordance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements and company procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience operating injection moulding machines.
• Strong experience with machines of 2,500 tonnes and above. Experience with 3,000-4,000-tonne machines or larger is preferred.
• Experience operating Tederic, Haitian, or similar machines.
• Hands-on experience manufacturing plastic pallets, crates, and containers.
• Sound knowledge of injection moulding processes, moulds, process parameters, and troubleshooting.
• Strong team leadership and communication skills.
• A responsible, proactive approach to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
