Job summary

Star Plastics, LLC in Dubai is seeking an Injection Molding Operator to run moulding machines, monitor production lines and ensure quality while adhering to safety standards. You will load materials, pack products and keep accurate production records in a fast paced manufacturing setting.

Candidates should be ready for rotating day and night shifts, have basic mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and follow SOPs. Prior molding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines according to production requirements and SOPs.
• Monitor machine performance, cycle operations and production output to meet daily targets.
• Inspect moulded products for defects and report quality issues to supervisor.
• Load raw materials, remove finished products, pack and maintain production records.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic checks of machines and moulds; report breakdowns or leaks promptly.
• Maintain clean and orderly production areas and follow safety procedures and PPE rules.

Job description

Primary Objective

To operate injection moulding machines efficiently and safely during the assigned shift ensuring production targets are achieved product quality standards are maintained and the machine and work area are kept in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

Operate injection moulding machines according to production requirements standard operating procedures and instructions from the supervisor.

Production Monitoring

Monitor machine performance cycle operations and production output and support the team in achieving daily production targets.

Quality Checks

Regularly inspect moulded products for defects abnormalities or quality issues and immediately report concerns to the supervisor.

Material Handling

Load raw materials as instructed remove finished products pack products properly and maintain accurate production records.

Basic Maintenance

Perform routine cleaning and basic checks of machines and moulds Report machine breakdowns abnormal sounds leakage or other issues without delay.

Housekeeping

Keep the machine production area and surrounding workplace clean organised and free from unnecessary materials.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety procedures PPE requirements operating instructions and company policies at all times.

Shift Details

This is a shift-based position in a manufacturing environment Candidates must be willing to work in rotating shifts according to production requirements Day Shift 7 00 AM TO 7 00 PM Night Shift 7 00 PM TO 7 00 AM Regular Duty 9 hours 3 hours overtime Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Previous experience in injection moulding will be an advantage. Candidates with limited experience but a strong willingness to learn may also be considered. Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts. Hardworking, disciplined and safety-conscious.
