Job summary

Nexgen Plastic Industry LLC in Umm Al Quwain, UAE seeks a Junior Machine Operator with hands-on experience on large-tonnage injection moulding machines (2500T+). You will monitor machine parameters, ensure proper feeding of plastic resin and support changeovers with senior staff.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, willingness to work shifts, and strong safety awareness. You will collaborate with setters, maintenance and quality teams to maintain smooth production and meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of injection molding operation experience.
• Experience with 2500T, 3000T, 3500T, 4000T+ machines preferred.
• Familiar with brands like Tederic, Haitian or similar.
• Basic knowledge of injection molding processes and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor 2500+ ton injection molding machines safely and efficiently.
• Check and control injection pressure, speed, temperature, cooling and cycle times.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters per approved production settings.
• Inspect parts for defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks or warpage.
• Assist senior operators with large mold installations and changeovers.
• Support start-up/shutdown and purging procedures; ensure proper material feeding.
• Report abnormal conditions to supervisor; maintain housekeeping around machines.
• Record output, defects, downtime and other production data accurately.
• Follow all HSE, quality, and machine safety procedures.

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Machine Operator with hands‑on experience operating large‑tonnage injection moulding machines (2500T+).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor 2500+ ton injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine parameters including injection pressure, speed, temperature, cooling time, and cycle time.
• Follow approved machine settings and production parameters.
• Inspect moulded products for defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burns, and other quality issues.
• Assist senior operators, setters, and technicians with large mould installation, removal, and changeovers.
• Support machine start‑up, shutdown, purging, and changeover procedures.
• Ensure correct feeding and handling of plastic raw materials.
• Identify abnormal machine conditions and report them promptly to the supervisor or technician.
• Perform basic operator‑level machine checks and maintain good housekeeping around the machine.
• Record production output, rejection, downtime, and other required production information.
• Follow all company HSE, quality, production, and machine safety procedures.
• Work closely with setters, maintenance, quality, and production teams to maintain smooth production.

Requirements:
