Job summary

Star Plastics, LLC is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Supervisor to manage production on a 24/7 shift. You will oversee machine setting, process control, and team supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include optimizing production, coordinating maintenance, and reporting on output, downtime, and efficiency. UAE-based role with visa and housing support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, with hands-on injection moulding experience.
• Proven ability to operate and set up injection moulding machines.
• Experience supervising operators or production teams in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of process parameters, troubleshooting and defect identification.

• Maintenance coordination: oversee breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Safety & compliance: enforce PPE, safety procedures and UAE regulations.
• Reporting: prepare shift production reports and handover notes.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Supervisor to manage production activities during an assigned shift in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The candidate will be responsible for smooth machine operations, production targets, quality standards, manpower management, process optimization, troubleshooting, and safety compliance. Strong hands‑on experience in machine setting and injection moulding processes is essential.

Primary Objective

Ensure efficient and safe production during the assigned shift by overseeing operations, maintaining quality standards, managing team performance, prioritizing safety protocols, and ensuring seamless communication with other shifts and departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Shift Management: Supervise injection moulding production, allocate manpower, communicate targets, monitor output, machine utilization, downtime and productivity, and ensure schedules are achieved.
• Machine Setting & Process Control: Operate and supervise injection moulding machines; set up machines for different moulds and production runs; adjust temperature, pressure, speed, cooling time and cycle time; troubleshoot process issues and minimize downtime.

Team Supervision & Development

Supervise operators and production workers, allocate work, train employees on machine operation, quality and safety, and provide coaching and feedback.

Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet approved specifications; monitor defects; coordinate with QC; implement corrective actions; minimize rejection, rework, wastage and production losses.

Process Optimization

Monitor workflow, identify improvement opportunities, reduce cycle time and material wastage, and recommend cost‑saving and productivity measures.

Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate machine breakdown repairs, report abnormalities, support preventive maintenance and assist with improved equipment and production techniques.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety procedures, PPE, housekeeping, and safe operating practices; conduct safety awareness and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE requirements.

Reporting

Prepare shift production reports covering output, rejection, wastage, downtime, machine performance and manpower utilization, and ensure proper shift handover.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on injection moulding experience.
• Proven experience in injection moulding machine operation and setting.
• Experience handling different moulds and production runs.
• Experience with Windsor and/or Shibaura machines is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process parameters, troubleshooting and defect identification.
• Previous experience supervising operators or production teams.
• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Fixed Salary: AED 2,800/month (Basic AED 1,680 + Food Allowance AED 1,120)
• Overtime: Additional OT as applicable; expected total earnings approximately AED 3,400/month.

• The ideal candidate should be a practical, hands‑on production professional capable of independently handling injection moulding operations, machine setting, process adjustments, operator supervision, troubleshooting and production target achievement.
• Immediate/urgent joiners with UAE or GCC manufacturing experience will be preferred.
