Job summary

James Patrick seeks a Senior Immersive Technologist to lead the technical delivery of a high-profile immersive project in the UAE. You will collaborate with digital artists, creative teams and technical suppliers to bring experiences from concept through live delivery.

The role requires hands-on expertise across projection mapping, LED, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, Unity, sensors, computer vision and spatial audio for complex live installations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in experiential, immersive or interactive technology with a strong live-installations portfolio.
• Hands-on knowledge across projection mapping, LED, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Experience designing technical solutions and coordinating multi-supplier projects.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into technically achievable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of immersive experiences from concept to live delivery.
• Collaborate with digital artists, creative teams and suppliers to realise installations.
• Design and manage multi-system integrations for complex live shows.
• Oversee commissioning, testing and troubleshooting in live event environments.

Contract: 28 September – 10 November 2026

We're partnering with a leading Dubai-based experiential agency seeking a Senior Immersive Technologist to lead the technical delivery of a high-profile project.

You'll work closely with digital artists, creative teams and technical suppliers to bring immersive and interactive experiences to life, from concept through to live delivery.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in experiential, immersive or interactive technology, with a strong portfolio of complex live installations.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of projection mapping, LED, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, Unity, sensors, computer vision, spatial audio, media servers and show control.
• Proven experience designing technical solutions, integrating multiple systems and managing complex, multi-supplier projects.
• Strong experience working with digital artists and creative teams to translate creative concepts into technically achievable experiences.
• Experience leading technical installations, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting in live event environments.
• Previous experience delivering experiential projects in the UAE, with an established network of local AV and technical suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to take full technical ownership of a project from concept to completion.
