Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is seeking an experienced HSE professional to join our UAE construction team. You will conduct daily site inspections, ensure compliance with MSRA, PTW and HSE requirements, and monitor high-risk activities on-site.

The role requires NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, 3–5 years UAE HSE experience, and familiarity with Abu Dhabi/Dubai regulations. Based in UAE, you will support safety initiatives and incident investigations to uphold project safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree with NEBOSH IGC or equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of HSE experience in UAE construction projects.
• Previous high-rise / multi-storey building construction experience in Abu Dhabi or Dubai is essential.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
• Good practical knowledge of work at height, scaffolding, lifting activities, formwork, housekeeping, electrical safety, PPE and PTW requirements.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi HSE requirements.
• Good communication and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily HSE inspections and monitor site activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved MSRA, PTW and HSE requirements.
• Monitor work at height, scaffolding, lifting and other high-risk activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks, inductions and HSE awareness activities.
• Identify and address unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain HSE inspection, training and site records.
• Follow up corrective actions with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Support incident reporting and investigation.
