Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is a UAE-based contractor focused on high-rise and branded residences. The company seeks an experienced HSE professional to lead the Project HSE Plan and ensure compliance across sites in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, NEBOSH IGC, 7+ years of UAE construction HSE experience, and proven track record in reviewing MSRA/PTW, conducting audits, and coordinating with the project team for high-risk activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
• 7+ years of HSE experience in UAE construction projects.
• Experience on high-rise/multi-storey building construction projects in Abu Dhabi or Dubai is essential.
• Candidates based in the UAE are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi HSE requirements (ADOSH-SF) and related regulations.
• Solid capability in reviewing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, JSAs and Permit-to-Work, plus incident investigations and HSE inspections.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project HSE Plan and NOVA HSE requirements.
• Review MSRA and PTW requirements for high-risk activities.
• Conduct inspections and audits and ensure timely close-out of HSE observations.
• Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and compliance.
• Coordinate with the project team on HSE requirements and high-risk activities.
• Support incident investigation, reporting and corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare HSE reports, statistics and performance records.
