Job summary

Al Ghurair Investment LLC seeks a diligent HSE Officer to implement and monitor project HSE policies, conduct site inspections and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO and environmental controls. You will lead toolbox talks, inductions and audits while coordinating with construction teams to resolve hazards before work begins.

The role requires NEBOSH IGC or IOSH, UAE/GCC construction experience, and a strong track record in incident investigations, HSE reporting and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Officer: 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC projects.
• Senior Officer: 5–8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably with responsibility for major construction or engineering projects.
• NEBOSH IGC and/or IOSH certification is preferred.
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification will be an advantage.
• Experience in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working on projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of local authority and client HSE requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, project, client, and regulatory HSE requirements.
• Reduction of incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
• Timely closure of HSE observations, corrective actions, and audit findings.
• Effective implementation of risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Contractor and subcontractor HSE performance.
• Completion of inspections, toolbox talks, training, and emergency drills.
• Effective incident reporting and investigation.
• Environmental compliance and effective waste/hazardous-material management.
• Continuous improvement in overall project HSE performance.

Education
