Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Lead to champion safety culture and manage HSSEQ performance on EPC/FEED projects for the Owner. You will lead HSE teams, develop annual plans and ensure compliance with design and construction safety standards.

Key responsibilities include incident investigations, audits, and coordinating HSSEQ input with Owner and Contractors. A strong engineering background with 20+ years in Oil & Gas is essential, including GCC exposure.

Qualifications

• 4yrs bachelor’s/ engineering degree.
• NEBOSH GCriGC or equivalent safety qualification.
• Diploma in Safety/HSE or equivalent certification.
• Lead auditor ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical, incl. GCC region.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar position on international mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
• Lead a team of HSE professionals (Lead HSE Engineers, Sr. HSE Officers).
• Develop and implement annual HSE plans and procedures.
• Ensure HSSEQ performance monitoring and reporting to Owner.
• Manage Contractor conformance to Project HSSE requirements.
• Interface with Owner’s Operations, Maintenance and HSSE management.
